Outrun is quite a good effort for a debut release. Set up with a nice storyline with you, as usual, going into some base and killing everyone. Although it is nothing unique, it is another good base level with interesting design and fun gameplay.

There are seven levels to play through. Visuals were good most of the time, and sometimes went above good. There was alot of variety, from sewers and underground caves to warehouses and labs.

Gameplay was good. Although there were a few times which were too hard, there was alot of action, especially at the end. There were even a couple of times I thought this must be the end battle, but it was not! There was just enough ammo and health to keep you going.

Overall, there is nothing new in Outrun but it is a good set of levels worth playing. If Edmund sticks to mapping I expect to get some damn good levels from him in future!
